The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and Meta House have been designated as the 2016 beneficiaries of The Masterpiece Ltd., the non-profit organization that operates the Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance.

The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin supports people with autism spectrum disorders, their families, professionals, and others, by sharing information, supporting research, providing networking opportunities and promoting awareness through education and training. “The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin is honored to be chosen as one of the The Masterpiece Ltd. beneficiaries,” said Executive Director Emily Levine. “As a grass-roots organization that has provided information and support to Milwaukee families for 40 years, we’re thrilled to be affiliated with another long-time Milwaukee organization.  Many individuals with autism have mechanical and engineering aptitudes, and this is a great opportunity to help them make connections, as well as raising money to support our mission: improving the lives of all affected by autism.” For more information visit www.assew.org.

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2013. Known as the oldest and largest youth-serving agency in Milwaukee, the Clubs offers high quality after-school and summer programming for children ages 5-18, focusing on those who have major life obstacles, most often poverty.

“The Milwaukee Masterpiece celebrates the finest achievements in automobiles and invites a diverse collection of cars to be the crowning accomplishments in the auto industry. In a similar fashion, Boys & Girls Clubs celebrates the achievements of our community’s young people as we strive to help our kids reach their greatest potential every day,” said Vincent Lyles, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. “On behalf of everyone at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, we are thrilled to be a partner with The Masterpiece Ltd. for this important and exciting event and we are honored to be a beneficiary.” For more information visit boysgirlsclubs.org
